Annie, Annie, Annie!

Okay well I saw Annie yesterday!  No!  Not the old Annie the new Annie!  It was really cool.  If you like heartwarming, eyes welling up, family movie your going to love this!
Well Annie is a foster kid in NY.  One day she is running to help a dog (soon to be Sandy) from getting hit by cans by teenagers.  She runs into this rich man who's name is William Stacks  (Jamie Foxx).  That's how it all begins.  Now I don't want to waste it so ....................... why don't you go see the movie!

Practice like a champion, Act like a champion

I am a champ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A couple of days ago, I had my swim championship meet. It was fun! Well, I won a race! That was a cool experience. I raced in numbers 7, 11, 15, and 17. I will tell you what that means:
7 = 1 lane (25 yd) of freestyle

11 = 2 lanes (50 yd) of freestyle

15 = 1 lane  (25 yd)of breaststroke

17 = 1 relay of freestyle.

I won the 50 yard freestyle.  I didn't even know that I had won but Mom came down and told me!  I felt excited.  When I was swimming, I didn't see anyone around me but I thought I had lost.  My mom told me that my whole family was screaming for me.  That was the day I went to the championships.

Thanksgiving Miracle

Hello everybody!  Well almost three weeks ago a Thanksgiving Miracle named Callum came to me.  He is now my new baby bro.  He is as cute as a bunny.  But sometimes he can be BOR-ING!  I mean all he really does is sleep, poop, pee, and eat!  :(  Do you want to know a secret about his cuteness.  Yes?!  Okay!!  Well he has dimples in his ears!  I know.  So cute!!!!!!  Well see you later alligator!

Swimming Galore

I'm on the Ypsilanti Otters Swim Club.  YOSC for short.
I now know how to do freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
My favorite ones are freestyle and breaststroke.

My NFO (non favorite ones) are backstroke and butterfly.
The teams that you can be on are Junior Otters, Yellow, Blue, and more.

You can't do races if you're in Junior Otters.  But I'm in Yellow so I have my first meet coming up.  I practice three days a week but you can practice five days a week.

I will see you later!

                                                  Bye!

SUPERHEROES !!!

It was a dark and gloomy place in the world.  Villains were on every street.  What were we supposed to do?  But then Gallop Park called the ….

Super Run !!!!

Superheros came from all over.  They came from Krypton,  Gotham,  Themyscira,  Metropolis,  Ann Arbor, and Ypsilanti.  There were two races.  One for awesome little superheroes and one for grownups.  The kids race was one mile and $10.  Grownups could run with them.  The grownups race was a 5K and $30.

Activity Time!  They had a reptile zoo there. They had turtle named "Speedy!"  Next, they were teaching people how to do the Zumba.  Also, you could color your own superhero t-shirt and paint a picture. Finally, the Circus Amongus was also there.

FOR  FREE !

I even made the Ann Arbor News with this picture.

It was awesome!  If the gloomy, dark villains come to your village, call the Super Run!

OWWW! I just got my ears pierced!

OWW!  I got my ears pierced on Sunday!  I got them pierced at the Briarwood Mall.  I think I look very cool.  :)  When I got there, I had to pick which earrings I wanted.  Then I had to sit in the chair.  My heart was racing as the lady got closer.  All of sudden there was a ....BAM!  My ears felt as though a bomb went through my ears!  All of a sudden I had earrings!  It hurt but I loved the way it looked on me.  So if you want to get your ears pierced, it's really not that bad!

Camping in the Wild.

Hiii!   I'm baaaaack!  How are you?...I'm good thank you.  Well anyway.  I was camping in Hoffmaster State Park.  When did I go?  I went August the 5th-8th, 2014.   I shared a tent with Speedy T and Rinny Roo.  Our grandpa, my grandpa's girlfriend, and her daughter Becca came too. Two dogs came with them.  Louie and Pacey are the best dogs ever!

I did lots of things while I was there: hiking, swimming in Lake Michigan, playing in the park, taking the dogs on walks, making s'mores.  We  had so much fun!  Bye for now!

Welcome to Kinnikinnick farm!

"Hey everybody!"  "Look it's Farmer David!"  "Time for morning chores!"  On July 7th,  my family and I went on a trip to Kinnikinnick Farm.  It is in Caledonia,  IL.  You get to stay in a tent cottage thingy ma bob!  There is one master bedroom,  one bunkbed,  and a closet bedroom for two people.  You get to do morning and afternoon chores: feed the pigs, feed the chickens, collect the eggs, milk the goats, brush the donkeys, etc.

On Tuesday, some baby chicks came.  They were just one day old!  They felt like a fluffy ball of fur.  We had to teach them how to drink water before putting them in their homes.  Have you ever held a baby chick?

Shopping Trip

Today my family went to Once Upon A Child.  Every clothing had a tag.  If the tag had a red line going through it, it was $1.00.  Otherwise, it had a price.  We went into the dressing room to try on all the clothes.  All of a sudden I tripped over a leg .  I looked at the floor.  I saw a pair of yellow flip-flops.  My sister Muirenn was trying to climb under the door while me,  my Mom,  and sister had only underwear on!   After awhile, my Dad and my sisters went home.  We scored some good clothes and after paying, my mom and I began to walk home.  First, we stopped at Starbucks on our walk.  Then, we walked two miles home.  It was fun!

Fathers Day!

Last Sunday it was Father's Day!  We made cinnamon roll muffins.  They were really good!  (For recipe go to Cooking Couture.)  After I ate that for breakfast, I went into my room and read The Truth And Myths About Our President.  I learned that Zachary Taylor had fifteen children.  Whoa!  Happy Father's Day Mr. President!  :)

Next we went to Gallup Park.  We rented a rowboat.  My dad started to row.  We saw a beautiful duck.  After a while we turned around and brought the boat back.  While we were walking I saw two turtles.  Have you ever been boating?

Happy Summer!

Happy Summer!  Yesterday was my last day of school!  We played "Summertime" and "School's Out for Summer."  We celebrated good report cards with sushi at Yotsuba and a movie night.

Today I woke up and went to a Tennis Play Day.  It was really fun!  Coach George taught us how to serve, score points, and trap the ball.  We played some matches and I won the award for Most Likely to Know the Rules of the Game.  My sister, T, won Youngest Player and Most Improved!  After that, we played at Montibeller Park with new friends.  This park is great for ages 1-100.  It has two play structures, tennis courts, and a creek with nature trails.  We discovered tons of crayfish.  Two of them were dead so I got them out to look more closely.  I can't wait to go again!
